They note that this will not be Free Software or Open Source, and they don't intend to muddy the waters on terminology.

I'm currently testing these fixes on my own copy, and so far I've been able to follow accounts at GoToSocial, Snac, and Bridgy Fed that I couldn't before, and vice versa.
At least they all think they're following each other. I'll have to try following this from the Bluesky side of the bridge, and seeing if this post shows up on the GTS and Snac followers.
